It’s remarkable to think that, when this show started:
- There was legitimate hope that IU was making a bowl game
- Bob Knight appeared to have weathered the storm and was poised to lead a promising IU team into battle
- I had yet to fail a college course
- Myles Brand was considered a good guy by most of the IU family
None of those perceptions or realities would survive the last four months of 2000.
