sppodsmOn another episode of the House Podcast, Galen is joined by David and Lee as we march through a bevy of impending FIFA qualifier matches. We start with the CAF, and discuss the geopolitical ramifications of Egypt hosting a playoff game with fans in the stands, as well as the overall wackiness (and unattractiveness) of the current African qualifying format, before giving our picks for that confederation. We then move swiftly to CONMEBOL where we cover the relatively easy-to-predict finish of South American qualifying. Our attention is then turned to CONCACAF, where we try to anticipate the fate of Mexico and giddily envision the plane trip from Mexico City to Auckland.

Finally, we cover the hot mess that is UEFA qualifying, and try to cover as many qualification scenarios as possible. Which, granted, isn’t all of them. But darn it, we tried.
